Legendary classic rock band Styx has played thousands of concerts over the last 40 years but none have been anything like the one scheduled for Thursday night at the Bi-Lo Center in Greenville.

“Improv-Ice” is part of the 2011-12 Pandora NBC Skating Series, and Styx has been invited to provide live music for the event, which features a star-studded cast of world-class figure skaters including Olympic silver medalist Sasha Cohen and two-time Olympic medalist Nancy Kerrigan.
