The Leominster Youth Football & Cheer organization will host its annual meeting Sunday, Jan. 29 at 6 p.m. at Fidelity Bank to vote in board members for the 2012 season. All active members are invited to attend.
NEW ENGLAND RAVENS AAU BASEBALL TRYOUTS
The new England Ravens (formerly known as the Mizuno Wildcats) AAU baseball organization still has spots available for the 13U, 14U and 15U teams. Jayson King, head baseball coach at Franklin Pierce University, will take over as the 14U’s head coach. Mike Chambers a former Franklin Pierce standout and Boston Red Sox draft choice, will assist. Rounding out the 14U coaching staff will be Leominster’s Mark Lever and Westminster’s Rich Hildreth. the 15U head coach will be former pitching star at Franklin Pierce Tom Cote.
